SocialZen

Data deletion

Last updated: 7 October 2026

You can revoke SocialZen's access to your Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and Threads profiles at any time, and ask us to delete the data we received from Meta. Here is how.

01From Facebook settings

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find SocialZen and choose Remove.
  3. Meta notifies us automatically: we immediately delete the tokens of the Pages you had connected and your Facebook identifier, and disconnect the Pages from every SocialZen account. Meta gives you a confirmation code you can use to check the outcome on this page.

02From Threads settings

  1. Open Threads and go to Settings → Account → Website permissions.
  2. Find SocialZen and choose Remove.
  3. We immediately delete the profile token and disconnect it from every SocialZen account.

03From X, TikTok or LinkedIn

  1. On X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps. On TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services. On LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.
  2. Find SocialZen and revoke access: from that moment our token no longer works.
  3. At the next publication the account shows as needing to be reconnected. To delete the token we hold right away, also disconnect the account from SocialZen (below).

04From SocialZen

  1. Log in to app.socialzen.tech (or your agency's site).
  2. Open Channels and choose Disconnect on the Page.
  3. The access token is deleted immediately. The content you prepared stays in your account until you delete it.

05Deleting the whole account

The account owner can close it from Settings → Workspace and plan → Close account; alternatively write to privacy@socialzen.tech from the account's email address. Access ends immediately and, after 30 days, the account, content, images, connected Pages and the company database are deleted automatically, with an email notice 7 days before. We keep only the accounting records the law requires us to hold.
